Building the Future: Texas A&M Students Win Big at Roofing Alliance Competition

At Schulte Roofing, we’ve always believed in fostering the next generation of roofing professionals. That’s why we’re proud to highlight a major achievement by some of Texas A&M University’s Construction Science students who have taken first place in the 2025 Roofing Alliance Construction Management Student Competition!

Held during the International Roofing Expo® in San Antonio, this prestigious event challenges students from top programs across the country to showcase their skills in real-world scenarios. This year, competitors were asked to submit a full roofing bid package for the Embassy Suites by Hilton San Antonio Airport Hotel, covering project management, safety, and estimating.

The Aggie team, comprised of John Falavolito, Grayson Headley, Ryan Kennick, Hogan Leftwich, and Weston Mounce, not only delivered a winning proposal but also impressed judges during their live presentation. Competing against powerhouse schools like Auburn, Clemson, and Cal Poly, their dedication, technical knowledge, and teamwork earned them a well-deserved first-place finish, complete with a team trophy and a $5,000 L.B. Conway scholarship for Texas A&M.

As a roofing company deeply rooted in College Station, Schulte Roofing couldn’t be prouder of these students and the excellence they bring to our industry. As a trusted College Station roofing contractor, we remain committed to supporting the future of the trade. Their success reflects the strength of Texas A&M’s construction science program and the bright future of roofing innovation.

We tip our hard hats to these future industry leaders; gig ‘em and congratulations!
